Anthony Imudia, MD
Dr. Anthony Nosahieme Imudia is a full time Faculty in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Director of the Fibroid and Endometriosis Center and Associate Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, FL.
He was born and raised in Oza-Nogogo, a small town in Delta State, Nigeria. Upon completion of his high school education, Anthony left Nigeria to study Medicine in Panama City, Re-public of Panama on full scholarship. While in Panama, he learned Spanish, studied medicine in Spanish and graduated top of his medical school class. Following his medical education, Anthony moved to the U.S. where he completed a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University School of Medicine/ Detroit Medical Center. During his last year of residency, Anthony served as the Executive Chief Resident for the OB/GYN residency program.Immediately after his OB/GYN residency, Anthony’s hard work and dedication earned him admission to Harvard Medical School / Massachusetts General Hospital where he completed 3 year fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is an excellent physician scientist with over 35 peer-reviewed publications in all aspects of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility. Anthony is blessed with a beautiful wife (Mireya) and 2 children (Ekinadoese and Eseohe). He likes traveling and learning about different cultures of the world. Anthony also plays tennis and soccer during his free time, and he is an ardent volunteer for various international health missions working in Africa.
